17th July 2008 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 25-12 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 14ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Cloudy and drizzly Max Speed: Distance Covered: Was about to go for a bike ride but most people had pulled out so I went windsurfing instead. Just caught the last hour of wind and the best of the day. Nicely powered with my 5.6m and big wave board. Nothing too exciting, just palying around in the waves and blasting around in the rain. Someone came out kitesurfing, but as soon as they launched their kite the wind dropped from about 20-25 knots down to 12 knots and by the time I left the beach a few minutes later it was down to around 5 knots. Glad I went out when I did. |
